The Amazing New Material: CoDOPA

Hawking has suggested that humankind might not survive "another 100 years without escaping beyond our fragile planet due to pollution, climate change, etc. Our discovery will help to solve this crisis: The Amazing New Material CoDOPA.

CoDOPA is originated from the abbreviation of it first application discovered: Co-Depolymerize Organic Polymers Agent. It is also the name of a drug for treating  Stiffness, Tremors, Spasms, Poor muscle control in parkinson's disease, implying that the amazing new material CoDOPA will solve many critical issues of human beings such as environmental pollution, resource depletion, climate change, etc.

CoDOPA was first discovered in 2004. It is the first generation material. We have invented the second and third generation CoDOPA by now. The application cost of the third generation CoDOPA is less than 10% of the 1st generation such as in biorefining and quantitative resourcing MSW.

New Application of the 3rd Generation CoDOPA as Catalyst

The 3rd generation CoDOP catalyst was confirmed to be able to convert dead animal body quantitatively into two high value-added major products within 15 minutes. Meanwhile, all microbes (bacteria, virus, fungus, etc.) of dead animal body are hydrolyzed into these two products. The technology is very useful for disease control in developping countries.

If all municipal solid waste collected after recycling and composting is treated with our invented technology, MSW (municipal solid waste) will produce about 20 million tons of Product A, about 115 million tons of Product B, about 16,400-164,000 tons of noble mixtures, about 3 million tons of high purity silicon dioxide, and several million tons of fertilizer (nitrogen and phosphates). It will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 328 million tons of carbon dioxide per year.

Gold with almost negligible cost

The CoDOP biorefining Technology can produce gold as a byproduct. The cost of gold is negligible compared with its value. A biorefinery with annual capacity of 200,000 tons biomass has potential to produce more than 4 tons of gold. The value of the deep cleaning reagent of industrial waste gases, soil remediation reagent, and green deicer will cover all of the refining expense. The product of gold will be manufactured as a byproduct.

Novel Powerful Mercury Remover

Deep cleaning reagent (DCR) of waste gases from CoDOP biorefining process can remove mercury very cost effectively. To removing 1kg of mercury from industrial waste gas,  only about 100kg of DCR is needed. It is a value of higher than $110,000 USD compared with that of ACI (active carbon injection) method.

Sun Pharmaceuticals, Inc. made a decision to build a DEMO facility in USA for manufacturing the third generation CoDOPA. CoDOPA is an amazing new material that can be used as catalyst in MSW resourcing technology. It converts MSW into five value-added products in one-step. 

MSW will clean air pollution

Product A from MSW resourcing is found to be capable of oxygen activation at room temperature. Activated oxygen molecules can destroy all VOCs and microbes in air. This product has huge potential to change the method of air purification.
